Zoom Q2n Lens Hood

This lens hood is specifically designed for use with the Zoom Q2n Handy Video/Audio Recorder. The recorder's unique design makes its lens protrude, leaving it vulnerable to accidental touches and fingerprints. To address this issue, I created this hood, which not only reduces flare but also safeguards the lens from unwanted smudges. The hood features a small loop that allows for secure attachment with a thread, ensuring it won't get misplaced if it inadvertently falls off. Given the Zoom Q2n's conical-shaped lens, friction is used as the primary means of attachment. For added security, you can apply a thin layer of liquid rubber or contact adhesive to the contact area and let it dry before assembly. This modification makes the hood easier to remove when needed.
