Zonestar Z9 HeroMe Gen7 Gantry Adapter
thingiverse
This is my gantry adapter to put a Hero Me Gen7 onto a Zonestar Z9v5.With that Gantry Adapter you can just print the default HeroMe Part7 Parts and put everything together as normal to have much better cooling, reliable prints and a platform on which you can build other modifications. I even managed to keep the 3 screws "slide in" mechanic of the stock toolhead.Be aware, that you cant use the stock hotends with HeroMe because of the big size of the hotends not fitting the base of the HeroMe System.I build my Printhead with a E3D v6 Style AllMetal Hotend and didnt have any clogging or other issues anymore. Before that mod i wasnt able to get a single good print out of this Printer. In good old HMG7 fashion you will need 3 M3 threaded inserts you melt into the part in the holes of the original gantry mounting mechanism. When using this mod and you choose the Dual 5015 Fan Setup as i did, you will loose about 20mm of your build volume on the X Axis because the Hero Me is much wider than the stock Printhead and the X Endstop will trigger when the nozzle is at about X=+20mm.To use the HeroMe you will also need my Z Axis Endstop Spacer (see my other Uploads) to raise the screw to push the endstop or you will move the nozzle or this gantry adapter into your bed while homing. If you find this useful please leave a like and a comment or even upload your make.Special Thanks to https://www.thingiverse.com/dekatater/ for helping a lot with this Adapter.
