This part supports the Y-belt and keeps it level, without tightening the belt. Be aware that parts are not perfectly symmetrical. (Disclaimer) Stainless steel is an exceptionally tough material. To drill the four holes in the Y carriage, you'll need a specialized HSSG Cobalt drill and ideally a pillar drill.
