I've printed the ioquatix version, but for me, having both top and vertical elements created a chaotic mess. So I opted to design a single piece that could simplify the printing process. Discovering it was impossible to print the original design led me to add support structures, only to find that different slicing software were generating them even within the duct, making it a complete failure. To overcome this hurdle, I decided to split the design into two separate parts. This approach allowed me to gain more control over the printing process and eliminate potential issues. Additionally, I wanted to incorporate a support for an LED light strip. Thanks to FDMBot's assistance with designing a custom led holder, I was able to accommodate an 8mm LED strip within the design. After carefully assembling all the components, the final result is now complete. It's worth noting that the intentional overlap between the LED and metal case on the right (housing the proximity sensor) aims to create a gentle pressure, keeping everything securely in place by just one-tenth of a millimeter.
