Zombie Skull (Not Good)
thingiverse
I decided to upload this despite it sitting unfinished on my harddrive for years now. Or maybe because of that. I marked it as work-in-progress because it is not finished, but I doubt I will find the time to work on it any time soon. I carved this skull from wax (see picture). Then I encased the wax in plaster bandages, heated it up to remove the wax, and cast it in resin. Only then did it occur to me to try 3d scanning it: I cannot remember what software I used, but that was years ago so it probably was not up to par with modern methods. I did some fiddling with it in Blender, but this is the best I managed back then. I could not tell you which file to use either, because they all seem to work in the slicer, at least to a decent extent. Pick your own one! You definitely should repair the models with netfabb or something comparable before printing. Of course, this file is provided at your own risk. I just felt I should point that out because I only printed it once.
