Zombie Outbreak- Vending Machine Toy Series

In our Multimedia class we were given a challenge to make 3D printed toys that would fit in a vending machine capsule. The purpose of the project was to learn about 3D modeling and 3D printing and share this with our school and beyond. Each student was responsible for creating 5 designs, and learned about how to design models that don’t need support material or adhesion. My design series is called “Zombie Outbreak”. The designs were made with Tinkercad and Adobe Illustrator. The main challenge was to find a way to fit the key into a capsule without making it too small. The things I most like about the models are the details in the key and the likeness of the first aid spray. The first model is the key to enter the lab to remove the parasite. The second model is a lighter that belonged to a great knight who helped you reach the lab. The third model is a case where you store the items you collected to facilitate your survival. The fourth model is a small tin of gunpowder used to craft more ammunition. The fifth model is a first aid spray to heal your wounds so you can fight on. Instructions Print using no less than 20% fill. Default speed and heat, no supports or rafts. All designs are based on items from Capcom’s Resident Evil 4. HM Multimedia and Design Studies
