The dragon was brought to life by Jennifer Buckingham, a talented artist who harnessed her creativity to design this unique creature. On March 31, 2018, Jennifer utilized a Structure Scanner attached to an iPad Mini 4 at Roanoke College during a hands-on workshop on 3-D printing and scanning, organized by Dr. DorothyBelle Poli and led by the knowledgeable Dr. Bernard K. Means. This digital representation of the dragon was captured by Virtual Curation Lab using advanced technology.
