Installing a battery in the nano talon can be tricky, especially when trying to get the CG spot on and tighten your straps perfectly right from the start. But flying a 4S1P 18650 Lithium-Ion pack in your ZOHD Nano Talon makes mounting a breeze and ensures you hit that critical center of gravity every time. These custom printed pieces from TPU (other flexible materials will work just as well) are designed to fit snugly onto a shrink tube wrapped 18650 pack, then snap into place on the nano talon's wooden tray. The rear section slides into place from the top and clicks into position with a 5mm clamping force on the wood tray, while the front section simply drops into its designated slot. If you're just taking it easy cruising with your Talon, this setup should provide more than enough hold for your pack. Once you've dialed in that perfect CG spot, you'll be hitting it every time without fail. However, if you plan on performing acrobatic maneuvers, consider adding an extra strap up front for added security - the access remains easy with just one strap in place.
