Zoetrope running man

I'm eager to craft a Zoetrope model that brings a running man to life, reminiscent of the innovative design found at hackaday.com/2016/06/29/3d-printed-zoetrope-sculpture-squashes-4-dimensions-into-3/. However, I'm struggling to replicate the fishnet pattern on the model's surface. I've uploaded my current progress, which includes a solid with integrated silhouettes of a running and jumping man, and I'm hoping someone can simply add the pattern to the model's skin and re-upload it in a Thingiverse file. I've also uploaded the SVG files in numbered order, as well as a pre-Blender version of my work. I believe I need to extract the STL file and apply a pattern, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this. I would love to have this unique piece on my desk.
