Human: 3D printed method & material selected:FDM with PLA suggested colors include dark tones for most of it light tones for the 3D figurine. No support.Description:This is not a zoetrope, it's a 3D version that can also quickly transform into a praxinoscope. Those two are optical toys from the 19th century, but now with 3D figurines that you can change and rearrange at will! You prefer the traditional zoetrope? No problem, just draw some images and place them in the drum. Like with traditional optical toys, you can play with speed and direction of rotation. It's a toy, so just have fun and be amazed!Assembly:To assemble the zoetrope, you'll need two bases with a spacer in between for correct measurement of space. Make sure those pieces are securely taped to the table. Place the drum on its base and attach the crank to the other base. If you don't want the crank to move up and down, use the small ring (crank holder). Choose ten figurines (snowman, bear, butterfly, boat or one that you create) and place each one on a peg inside the drum. You can also add drawings or pictures inside the drum as decorations for the figurines. If desired, glue mirrors to the last piece and install it in the hole in the middle, resulting in a praxinoscope. Everything is now installed! Simply use the crank to turn the zoetrope/praxinoscope and observe the animation. Enjoy!School name: Université de Montréal
