(suggested colours: dark colour for most of it, light colour for the 3D figurine).No support.Description:This is not a zoetrope, it is a 3D version that can also be change quickly into a praxinoscope. Those two are optical toys from the 19th century, but with 3D figurines that you change change and rearrange at will! You prefers the traditionnal zoetrope? No problem, just draw some images and put them in the drum. Like with traditionnal optical toys, you can play with the spead and the direction of the rotation. It is a toy, so just have fun and be amazed!Assembly:To assemble the zoetrope, you will need the 2 bases with the spacer inbetween for correct mesurement of the space. Make sure those pieces are taped to the table. Put the drum on its base and the crank on the other base. If you do not want the crank to move up and down, use the small ring (crank holder). Pick a serie of 10 figurines (snowman, bear, butterfly, boat or one that you create) and put each one on a peg inside the drum. You can also put drawings or pictures inside the drum, like a decor for the figurines. If you want, you can glue mirrors on the last piece and install it in the hole in the middle, but then, you will end up with a praxinoscope. Now, everything is install! Just use the crank to turn the zoetrope/praxinoscope and look at the animation. Enjoy!School name: Université de Montréal
