Zodiac Barracuda MX8 Gearbox XShaft and other parts

One day, your Zodiac Barracuda MX8 pool cleaner will become erratic. Mine started showing signs of madness when it no longer followed its usual paths, and the pseudorandom behavior I had grown accustomed to over the years turned into a chaotic mess - like a rabbit chasing its own tail. Each track is driven by a box equipped with a reduction gearbox, and an L-shaped combination of a cam shaft and a precision follower (what I'm calling the X-shaft). The X-Shaft determines which gear is engaged (forward or backward). In my case, the precision edge wore out to the point where it no longer interacted with the track for the reverse option, causing it to spin wildly. This part replaces the original. Be sure to consult **Print Settings** for an explanation of how these components work together.
