Zodiac Baracuda MX8 Bearing small
thingiverse
I was unable to purchase the small bearing loose for the Baracuda MX8 pool cleaner, so I designed and printed a replacement along with several other components to reduce maintenance costs. Once the new part is printed, remove the bottom support ring and loosen the balls slightly using a small screwdriver. Next, use my Dremel at a slow speed (5) to spin the bearing, allowing the balls to grind out to a round shape within a couple of minutes. Be careful not to apply too much speed, as this can cause the bearing to seize up and become ruined. After grinding, the bearing works reasonably well under low-speed underwater operation and resists rusting and disassembly.
