Zoa

The design of the Zoa tries to incorporate a classy traditional supercar look with a silky, dark and smooth personality. The Zoa is a two-seater mid-engine V8 hybrid. One of the main features of the hybrid engine is its wind powered capabilities, which reduces fuel consumption and powers the engine via electricity. Located inside the two front meshes by the headlamps are a pair of large cannon-shaped holsters called Talons that provide the simple task of sucking air into the engine. The talons have two sets of fans, the first located at the base of the talon which spins in the direction that sucks air into the tube which then spins a wind blade located behind the first fan. This then creates a process that is based on the idea behind the windmill; in fact, this is idea that has powered the concept of this car. Wind powered energy is another alternate to oil, and it is renewable, infinite and has the potential to generate a wealth of power to anything it is applied to. The Talon system however, seeks to adjust the downfalls of wind technology such as lack of control over its elements such as, wind direction, speed and amount, by employing the use of a suction fan and a receiver fan larger than the suction fan so as to spin faster and get as much air in as possible to power the engine, while the car itself is dynamically designed with air splitters and wind receivers that strategically direct the wind towards the talon. Staying true to its name, hopefully the Zoa will spur further interest in the development and revolution of the new cell of wind power.
