FPV transmitter mount with break-away antenna mounting bracket: keep your 3D printed antenna safe, not your costly TS5823 FPV transmitter! This system features an RP-SMA Male to RP-SMA Female extension cable. During a crash, your antenna takes the hit, while this transmitter stays isolated. The TS5823 FPV transmitter board is secured to the mount with double-sided foam tape. I was skeptical about this tape at first, viewing it as just another "duct tape" approach. But it's strong and can handle vibrations. Give it a try! I used a long extension cable from Amazon (link below). A shorter length would work just as well, but save on weight: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G20NRC. Tip: print some extra antenna mounts for field repairs. The Antenna mount plate was remixed from "ZMR250 Antenna Holder by Johnny01", with the following changes: Reduced RP-SMA connector hole size to minimize clearance. Added stiffening ribs and cutout slots for style and strength. Re-profiled to match the ZMR250 top plate shape better. I also added two STL representations of popular FPV video transmitter cards, or VTX, for reference.
