ZMR250 Unibody FPV 3D-Cam
thingiverse
This is an unibody design specifically created for the FPV 3D CAM on ZMR250 frames. It turns a conventional FPV Racer into one with 3D stereo view capabilities. Although this setup doesn't improve flight speed or ease of flying, the 3D visual experience is truly fantastic. The camera itself is protected from crashes because pilots must fly close to objects to achieve the full 100% 3D effect and that proximity increases crash risk when flying low. There's space inside the body for a Naze 32, four ESCs, and a classic 200mw 5.8Ghz transmitter. The setup supports six-inch props with clearance above the camera cover. Here is my configuration: I used a ZMR250 frame (4mm arm edition), Naze 32, Micro Beast 2100, Afro12 Blheli, KINGKONG 6040 Prop, Eachine ET200 video TX, and 3S Lipo batteries. Please note that this is not the fastest racer configuration. The design requires no significant modifications to print, but minor adjustments are needed after printing; follow Post-Printing instructions for details. Thanks go out to fpv3dcam for providing the camera and CAD files used in creating this frame. Here are my Print Settings: * Printer: Prusa I2 * Rafts: Doesn't Matter * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 40% * Notes: Printed with PETg material, supports were printed too. Post-Printing Adjustments After printing the frame requires some work to clean and prepare the USB connector on the camera, front pins on the camera, and align holes with the frame. Two bolts must be inserted into the nose section to secure screws from the top cover. Heat them to melt the plastic before inserting in place. One side has a prepared space for a buzzer; I found mine too tight so I enlarged the hole using a hot metal tube. The XT60 support works fine, and the video TX fits below it, but you'll need to protect the connector by cutting some carbon. Lastly, cut the ZMR250 top plate in front to clean out the nose block and camera circuit; make sure not to touch the camera.
