ZMR250 split top plate - low rider mod
thingiverse
Still a work in progress, so feel free to test it out. I needed a simple and effortless way to do a low rider mod without having to cut into the original carbon fiber top plate in case I wanted to revert my changes later on. To achieve this, I decided to split the top plate. The "back" piece will sit lower than usual, while the "front" piece will be positioned higher to make room for FPV cameras up front. Just use the appropriate standoffs required and you're good to go. I included the original 35mm standoff - simply load it into your slicer, scale only the z height to your desired depth, and print as many as you need. Now, the battery will sit lower since it rests on top of the "back" piece. The front small piece still has holes that can accommodate the original camera plate, too.
