To complete this project you'll need: 16x M3x20mm Hex Bolts A WS2812 LED Strip A Diode 1N4004 or something similar is acceptable Don't have access to a 3D printer? You can find them here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322045639783 Your WS2812 led strip might not work properly without one, in that case you may need a diode to drop the voltage slightly. Check out this excerpt from the Cleanflight Manual: "If your LEDs start acting up by being intermittent, flickering or showing wrong colors then reducing the VIN to under 4.7v is your best bet - e.g. using an inline diode on the VIN to the LED strip will solve the problem in no time! The issue lies in the difference between the data signal and the power signal. Some LEDs are more tolerant of this than others so it's a case by case basis." Ignore those arm spacers in the first picture, I had to redesign things after buying ESC's with external capacitors - which I now realize were the wrong ones. The design that was published originally is made for use with esc's that have built-in capacitors like Afro and KISS ESC's.
