After spotting the excessive wear and tear on my LiPos' bottom sides, I embarked on a mission to create something that would prevent LiPo abuse. With 1300mah 4s(and 3s) LiPos being pricey, you'll want them to last as long as possible, especially if you're living on a tight budget like me. That means safeguarding them during crashes. The LiPo battery pad I engineered functions similarly to gel pads many people use - it simply elevates the battery above the bolts that will dent it upon impact. Unlike other gel pads, however, this one is specifically designed for the ZMR250 and snaps easily into the top plate! The upper pad protects the battery in the event of an upside-down crash or a scrape against a tree branch. It also features triangular shock-absorbing protrusions at the front and back that shield the upper edges of the battery - areas often damaged during crashes. Lastly, the upper pad increases the surface area of the lipo strap, preventing it from flying off during a crash or in flight. For optimal results, print with TPU. Don't have a 3D printer?
