The new design fits perfectly now. Initially, the gap between the two columns was wider in the original setup and wouldn't accommodate my clone zmr250 drone comfortably. I retained the camera mount from the original build and removed everything else to achieve a better fit. FlohwZ's suggestion about placing the mount on the columns was a clever idea.
