ZMR 250 Motor Guard
thingiverse
I needed motor guards that would safeguard motors in a crash and prevent dirt from entering the motor. Available are both taller and shorter (10mm less) versions. Additionally, I desired the guards to slide directly over the arm for easy replacement. These should stay securely attached with friction. However, over time, I've found these guards tend to become loose, so I also created a wedge that inserts under the arm to keep them in place. The bottom dome is sufficiently tall to allow replacing the V landing gears. Printer Settings Printer: Wanhao i3 Raft: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 50% Notes: I printed these at 102% to avoid a too-tight fit that would cause the guard to crack. Print with the domed side facing upwards.
