ZMR 250 CMOS FatShark mount for zip ties
thingiverse
I fabricated a mount to install the widely used 600TVL CMOS cam provided with the FatShark Predator V2 kit at the front of my ZMR 250 frame. As expected, any CMOS cam will fit neatly. The cam can be secured with one single 2.5mm ziptie through the two holes in the 25° angled mounting arm, keeping the zippy end on top. Beneath the mount is a groove that conceals the zip tie very snugly and enables the mount to have an even contact with your Quad. The second zip tie goes through the cuts in your ZMR bottom plates and the zip-tie-guides. It's engineered to place the camera lens just half a millimeter behind the front of the bottom and top plates, protecting it from serious impact damage if I -fortunately- don't lose control of my Quad and crash into something less forgiving than air. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Notes: It truly doesn't matter how you print this mount. I successfully printed it on my Up!Mini without any issues whatsoever. Just be sure to correctly position the stl file since orientation may not always yield the best results. You might require supports for the zip tie guidance beneath the mount during printing.
