ZMR 250 14mm Spacer with Vents
prusaprinters
This was a great model to start with, but I thinned the front bumper so it doesn't interfere with screws, deepened the gaps for the wires to pass through to give a little extra room, and added some angled vents to pull air in around the ESC's and PDB. After talking with an engineer I work with, I also changed the angle of the vents on the back half of the spacer. The vents are angled toward the front or rear props to catch some of the prop wash and direct the air over the esc's. This should especially help while hovering and not in fast forward flight. The file for that design is titled "opposite vents." Again - the sketchup file has been uploaded for ease of remixing. This is for 3mm arms but I've included the sketchup file I used for this to make it easier for others to make their own remixes. Be sure to share them! I have also included the original XT60 plate that bolts in to hold the connector. Category: Hobby
