The standoff/coupler eliminates the issue of lengthy 3mm bolts by rotating the motor to allow short screws for both motor attachment and assembly fastening. Assemble couplers with nut and set screw, then insert 4 x 14 mm screws into bottom holes before attaching the motor using 8 mm screws. Place a coupler on top nut and rotate both z rods to align the side with exposed setscrew through one of the openings. Turn the motor shaft so that it aligns with the set screw and insert the motor-standoff assembly into the z-vertex, ensuring proper alignment of the motor shaft with the coupler's hole. Tighten mount and set screws, then repeat for the other side. The standoff measures 45 mm but may not be compatible with other couplers; custom lengths can be considered upon request.
