ZK-4KX lab power supply case
cults3d
I've uploaded my case for the ZK-4KX buck-boost converter. It works well as an rudimentary lab power supply. NOTE: Don't build this unless you've got some experience with electronics. I'm pretty time-poor so can't support / help anyone greatly with building this. No warranties are offered, and you build it at your own risk. In my build, I'm using a 12mm missile switch, 4mm terminals, and a USBC-PD adaptor to get 20V from a laptop charger to power it. I've included the sketchup files if you wish to mod it. The ZK-4KX has a wide voltage range, so depending on your purposes, you can run it off a decent plug pack as long as it can deliver the required current an amps. It's best to look up the specs of the ZK4KX. I needed to clip the side clips of the zk4kx because it wouldn't fit into the case first go. I then hot-glued it in. So you may wish to mod the Sketchup File a little. I didn't because it would be wasteful to print another case when this one suits my needs just fine, so I left it. The case also has room inside to tuck a small fuse holder wired in series with the input voltage, which is always recommended. The lid on the bottom also attaches with 2 2mmx6 As a courtesy, because AliExpress links come and go, I've posted screenshots of the parts I've ordered so you can look up equivalent parts if needed. It features a small hutch to fit a USBC-PD board, which can be hotglued in place. If you want to use a plugpack or other sort of DC source, a cable can easily be routed into that hole too. Your choice.
