Crafted almost to scale, Zivko Edge 540 boasts accurate general dimensions and a textured finish. Its detailed cockpit features instrumentation and controls, while its single-cockpit model is precisely designed with animatable ailerons, elevators, rudder, propeller, and landing gear spring and roll. Available in multiple formats, this model allows for an unobstructed view of the engine, mount, exhaust, and other details within the nose upon removal of the cowling. Some elements can also be glimpsed through the air intakes. Manufactured by Zivko Aeronautics, this highly aerobatic aircraft boasts a remarkable 420-degree per second roll rate and a 3,700 feet per minute climb rate. It has dominated the international Unlimited aerobatics circuit since the mid-1990s, with its tandem-seat version marketed as the Edge 540T. This aircraft is synonymous with the Air Race World Series, where all champions have flown this model.
