The Zivko Edge 540, crafted by Zivko Aeronautics, closely resembles its actual counterpart with dimensions only a few inches off. Its detailed cockpit features intricate instrumentation and controls, while the single-cockpit controls are also modeled and textured. Animateable features include ailerons, elevators, rudder, propeller, landing gear spring and roll. Available in various formats, the model's engine, mount, exhaust, and other elements in the nose can be observed upon removing the cowling, with some visibility through air intakes. This highly aerobatic aircraft boasts a 420-degree per second roll rate and a 3,700 feet per minute climb rate, winning several times on the international Unlimited aerobatics circuit since the mid-1990s. A tandem-seat version, the Edge 540T, is also available. The Zivko Edge 540 is notably the most frequently used aircraft in the Air Race World Series; all champions of this series have flown with it.
