Stone Pine Cone (German: Zirbelnuss) Core Emblem in the Coat of Arms of My Home Town Augsburg The Stone Pine, brought to us by the Romans 2000 years ago, is deeply rooted in my hometown's history. I Have a Special Fondness for Them They make excellent garden ornaments, as you can clearly see from these photos. Splitting the Original STL File into Top and Bottom Parts To create an even more impressive ornament, I split the original file into two parts: top and bottom. The version number of this file is 3.03. Scaling to Maximum Printer Volume When scaling the two parts, I scaled them up to their maximum volume. My printer was limited by height first, but the STL files were incredibly detailed, revealing no steps or resolution markings even at a 3x scale. Source: The original STL file is final_cds.stl, which I unfortunately cannot find anymore to reference. If you come across its source, please let me know so I can update this information accordingly.
