I'm building an exterior shell for a model based on my trusty Zippo lighter, which sits proudly on my desk. The antique brass finish proved to be quite the challenge, but I've finally got it looking spot-on. To give it some extra flair, I also added the Wild Hunt logo, and I think it really brings the model to life. Next up is modeling the actual lighter element itself. This high-poly model packs a whopping 24.5k triangles, but I plan on scaling it back down to low poly in the future. I'm working with Blender for the modeling and Substance Painter for the texturing.
