Zipper Pull with Jewel design
thingiverse
Students Kayla Swaringer and Kassidy Taylor, occupational therapists, designed a project to adapt a zipper pull for young children struggling with motor coordination issues. The regular zipper tab is difficult for these kids to manipulate. To simplify the process, they added a jewel-shaped extension at the end of the zipper pull. This new feature makes it easier for children with poor motor skills to grasp and manage the zipper. The design attaches securely to the zipper via a paper clip, ensuring a sturdy connection.
