Zipper Pull with Finger Grip
thingiverse
Student project design aims to modify a standard zipper pull design for a client who has survived a stroke and now suffers from right side hemiparesis, making it difficult for the right hand dominant individual to grasp and pull the tab simultaneously due to weak hand strength. A key modification involves adding finger cutouts to facilitate easy pulling. Furthermore, the attachment mechanism utilizes a paper clip to secure the modified zipper pull to the actual zipper. The design is attributed to Alexa Shepperd, OTS, and Kathleen Simis, OTS, who collaborated on this project.
