Zipper pull tab
thingiverse
I'll just grab some fresh print materials for my coat, as my current pull tab's giving out on me. I'm guessing it won't be super long-lasting, but time will tell. For now, I've broken down the project into two parts - first, zipperb2 needs to slide through a small hole in the slider, then glued onto part zippera to close up the tab completely. My coat is fairly thick, but with a light rub of sandpaper and some elbow grease, I managed to push it through. Update 1/26/15: So far, so good - this little repair's held up just fine, though I suspect the weakest link might be where the two parts join. With a quick soak in cyanoacrylate, it stays in place, but if you don't mind my saying, I think there are a few design tweaks needed for next time around.
