Zipnfc Pet tag
thingiverse
I designed a custom pet identification tag with multiple features to provide quick and reliable contact methods for owners. The rectangular tag measures 24x18x2mm in size, complete with a small loop on top that fits around a standard collar. It was specifically crafted to fit snugly around the Zipnfc MIDAS "TINY" tags available online at zipnfc.com/nfc-stickers/clear-nfc-stickers/nfc-sticker-midas-tiny-ntag213.html. When 3D printing, I recommend pausing the process before layer six or seven to secure an NFC tag for additional security. You can find a detailed video explaining the printing process on https://youtu.be/JcXIrHrFjJ0, showcasing how layers stack up smoothly after inserting the NFC tag. However, my first few printed lines suffered from distortion, possibly due to layer clumping, which was eventually concealed by subsequent layers without issue. Printer settings include: - Printer Brand: RepRap - Printer Model: Prusa i3 - Use rafts and supports: No - Layer resolution: 0.2mm - Infill density: 20% Notes from printing the custom section reveal that the NFC tag was successfully applied during the pause after layer six.
