Zip Top Bag
thingiverse
A new 3D printed purse design that doubles as a pencil case features a swift print time and sleek aesthetics. The zip-top closure ensures secure storage while making a satisfying sound. Inspired by gabielfp's roll-top box and emmett's bracelet, this functional accessory can be customized with various sizes and added chains in future versions. Watch an assembly and demo video for guidance. Updates include additional sizes (140x223, 140x195, and 140x145) and a 95mm x 95mm test piece for trying out the concept without committing to the full project. To print the fabric, slice at either .2mm or .1mm layer height with infill oriented perpendicularly or rotated 45 degrees, respectively. Allow the fabric to cool before removing it from the platform and use glue or acetone to attach side pieces. Fill with prized possessions and secure with the closure for a stylish accessory.
