Zip Tie Mr. C's multi-reusable PETG
thingiverse
I needed a reusable zip tie that exceeded my expectations. After scouring the market for a suitable option, I became disenchanted with existing designs and decided to create one from scratch using Blender. By redesigning, testing, and optimizing the design for minimal material usage while minimizing size, I achieved a zip tie that releases effortlessly by pinching the center front three teeth upward with my thumb and forefinger. The PETG material provides sufficient strength and flexibility, and nylon might even be an even better choice. Scaling up to create super zip ties is feasible, but shrinking down to a smaller scale may not be practical. Enjoy this improved design, which includes a longer version after some tweaks for added usability!
