Zip tie GoPro Curved Mount
thingiverse
To fit my Specialized cycling helmet, I modified the GoPro Curved Mount (by JonDanielsRacing), which can be found on Thingiverse at this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:115070. For my Hero3 clip-on mount, I simply added zip tie panels. The printing was done using the Replicator 2x with a resolution of 0.2 mm and 100% infill, as well as six shells through dual extrusion. HIPS supports were utilized, and MW 2.4.1 software provided excellent support handling. Additionally, I required the Pacman Helper Disk V2 (by midniteandy) to prevent corner lifting, which can be accessed here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:112436. The zip tie holes in this modified bracket are designed for small zip ties. To further strengthen and polish the piece, I recommend a 10-15 minute acetone vapor bath at 80 degrees Celsius.
