Zip Pull
thingiverse
I required a zip pull handle for a reversible jacket zipper, allowing the jacket to be worn inside out without issue. Since one couldn't be found on Thingiverse, I designed my own solution. The zip pull features a "C" type grip and is intentionally forced over the slider for added security. This design allows the pull handle to be flipped to either side with ease. I chose to use PETG due to its availability in my loaded printer, although it may also work well with other materials. To test the limits of my printer's capabilities, I utilized the ULTRADETAIL resolution, which proved to be a crucial factor for this small yet intricate part. The entire process took approximately 35 minutes at this level of detail.
