Human: Allows Zeepro Zim to hold more filament than its physical size appears to allow. You can use full 1Kg spools and smaller 1lb rolls, along with. Removing a couple of parts bypasses the cartridge mechanism. What you'll need for dual spools: - A drill bit is needed, 11/64" diameter. - A drill bit is needed, 5/32" diameter. - Machine screws are needed, two of them, each #8 in size and 3/4" long. - Lock nuts are also required, two of them, both #8 in size. - Metal screws are needed, five-eighths inch in length, four of them. - PTFE teflon tubing is necessary, one and a half feet in length and 2mm inside diameter. Instructions: You'll need the following materials to create dual spools: A drill bit that's 11/64" in size A drill bit that's 5/32" in size Machine screws: two #8 in size, three-fourths inch long. Lock nuts: two #8 in size Five-eighths inch metal screws: two of them. See the pictures for details on how to assemble the bracket arm as shown. To begin, slide the spool holder down the hook bracket. Push it onto the tab at the bottom until it snaps into place. Be certain that the spool holder is in the correct position. First, insert a 5/8" metal screw for attaching the longer arm to the spool holder plate. Then, secure the long arm with the same screw, working slowly to avoid breaking any threads in the PLA plastic where these holes are located. Finally, tighten it until snug but not too tight; this will ensure that the long arm moves freely as needed. Next, attach the short arm to the longer arm using a 3/4" #8 machine screw and a lock nut. Leave this loose enough so that the short arm can move back and forth. Now remove any teflon tubing from your extruder by applying pressure to the black plastic shield at the rear of your gantry while holding onto the PTFE tube in place, then pulling it gently outwards. Then press in towards you. The black plastic should separate allowing easy access for removing it. With all that completed now it's time for priming and unloading, repeat process when you wish to unload, wait until heating begins then carefully tug on the end while it moves the last bit out, you'll need about four-five times more space once complete!
