The ZiL-130 is a Russian truck designed by ZiL in Moscow, Russia. The first ZiL prototype rolled off the assembly line in 1956. Production officially commenced in 1962, with mass production following suit in 1964. This rugged cargo truck became one of the most abundant vehicles in both the USSR and Russia, with ZiL producing an impressive 3,380,000 units up to 1994. In 1995, ZiL shifted its production to the Ural Motor Plant (UamZ), which had ceased operations by then, rebranding their trucks as the UamZ-43140 model.
