The ancient structure, a remnant of the Middle Ages, boasting a sprawling layout, courtyard, and accompanying landholdings spanning over 2,200 square meters, was once under the stewardship of the Cartusian monastery from Žiče by the late 14th century. At the dawn of the 19th century, it underwent significant transformations alongside the Minorite monastery, now home to the Maribor Puppet Theatre, transforming into a military barracks and subsequently a military court and prison. Today, the estate is in the possession of entrepreneur Sasa Arsenovic. The Teleskop Geodesy Company has been entrusted with its upkeep.
