The retract mount should be acting as the primary support and the brace as a secondary / backup support. Place the brace against the firewall with no gap between the frame and the aft side of the brace.The design is intended to be adhered to the fuselage on the entirety of the U shaped brace perimeter. Select an adhesive which is appropriate for the foam and filament. My preference is FoamTac if the filament is compatible. White Gorilla Glue is my 1st alternate.Inset the brace ~3mm to avoid interference with the doors when closed.Recommend giving consideration to the alternative Flex Brace before committing to a rigid brace. Flex Brace offers a number of performance advantages. The primary advantage of the rigid brace is that the filament/printer requirements are reduced.
