Zesty Nimble 2.85mm PTFE Clamp
thingiverse
I have a Railcore 300ZL printer equipped with a 1.75mm E3D V6 and Zesty Nimble extruder. However, the 1.75mm PTFE tubes I initially used caused too much friction for my liking, despite being only used to guide the filament to the extruder, which means their diameter wasn't crucial. To address this issue, I acquired a 2.85 mm Capricorn PTFE tube and created a mount to attach it to the nimble's ptfe drive gear guide. This setup significantly reduces friction compared to the 1.75mm tube and looks great too. To replicate my solution, you'll need the following: * Two M3 screws, each at least 6mm long (preferably 8mm) * Two m3 nylon locking nuts
