CONTEST SUBMISSION Submitting this model to the Space Design Contest as a way for astronauts to exercise in space and build strong team bonds. An old-fashioned toy where you pull the handles apart, allowing you and your partner to play a fun game of back-and-forth (see video example: Similar Toy). Instructions on how to play with the 3D-printed version are straightforward: 1. Get the ball as close to your partner as possible without hitting the handles. 2. Be careful when sending the ZipLineBall to your partner in the game. It doesn't take much time to print; I made the handles and ball in one print in under 4 hours. INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SET UP Tie a piece of monofilament line (fishing string) from one handle to another, passing it through the ZeroG Ball. Repeat this process on the other two handles. Notes: 1. I made the string about 10 feet long and it worked perfectly. 2. It works amazingly with translucent filament. 3. Set different sizes and infills to the ZeroG Ball to achieve varying weights. 4. You can increase the size of all objects in the slicer for a larger version. 5. Most importantly, have fun! I can envision this beautiful toy looking stunning in zero gravity, maybe even outer space! Will create various versions to keep people entertained. Please do not sell printed copies or post them on other websites. If you print it, share and message me on Twitter at www.twitter.com/TheCreatorx3D.
