I acquired a pair of vintage Robotech Zentradi action figures produced by Matchbox in the 80s. These figures stand at 10cm tall, placing them precisely within the 1:100 scale, allowing me to seamlessly integrate them with various Macross toys also scaled at 1:100. The loose figures I obtained lacked their accompanying weapons, and a glance at the boxed versions revealed that they didn't come close to matching what was depicted in the cartoon. It's worth noting that these are the "micronized" Zentradi, which means they're significantly smaller than regular-sized Zentradi. This size discrepancy doesn't explain why they're wearing full-size Zentradi armor, but perhaps it's just a creative choice. A notable point to consider is the height disparity between the Valkyrie and Zentradi soldier. According to official sources, common Zentradi infantry stood at around 10 meters tall, whereas the Valkyrie measured approximately 12.7 meters in Battroid mode. Britai, being a Command Type, was even taller. While the TV show's animation took some liberties with scale, the movie version did a better job of maintaining accuracy.
