The Zenfone 2 features Dual SIM capability, but users have encountered an issue where the SIM in Slot 1 tends to shift and disconnect during regular use. In response, a solution was developed to introduce added stress to both SIM cards. To accommodate Single SIM configurations, the design was scaled up by increasing the Y axis by 1mm (a 6% enhancement) and the Z axis by 0.5mm (a 50% increase). Although the Single Slot version has not been thoroughly tested, if it appears too short, users can further augment the Y axis by an additional 0.5mm (approximately a 3% boost). The overall thickness of the device was increased to prevent the tensioner from being able to slide into the unused SIM Slot.
