Zen Water - Desktop Water Fountain
thingiverse
Desktop Water Fountain. I created this design from scratch using DesignSpark Mechanical and SketchUp software, based on a picture I found online that inspired me. I wanted to reproduce the original design to 3D print it, which is what you see here. The only thing I need help with is the *torre* file. The rest of the components are designed for use with a submersible water pump and a 12mm OD plastic (silicon) tube. I would really appreciate it if you could share your printed design with me, as I invested a lot of time into designing this fountain. Please take just a few seconds to upload your print! Note that the *conector* files are only necessary for the Basin_v2 model. If you choose to use the Basin version 1, you won't need these files. If you'd like to see and hear my water fountain in action, check out this video: https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Gd4L7lNPg/ Update August 19: This is actually one of the loudest fountains I've ever made, but it comes with a trade-off – some water drips. To address this issue, I designed an optional part called SilentModule that reduces water dripping when attached to the fountain. However, keep in mind that attaching the SilentModule will also reduce the sound of flowing water. If you position the piece correctly, you won't need any supports during printing.
