Zelrig Separate Wings

Zelrig Separate Wings

Remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4568079 by lyte3d. I split the original scanned model into two separate meshes to make the complex geometry a little easier to print on either FDM or resin SLA printers. The wings are joined together as a single piece for extra sturdiness, nestling into a niche on the back of the main body. Each component should take roughly around 10-12 hours or less to print on a FDM printer using standard settings. Resin prints can be completed in less time. Depending on printer resolution and material tolerances, there may be a slight 1mm seam underneath the wings when joined to the torso. This gap can easily be filled in with hot glue, craft putty, or green stuff, and should not be apparent once the model is coated in a few base layers of paint. The downloadable STL files do not include attached supports. These will need to be generated separately with any preference of 3D slicer program. For additional modular design options, I would also recommend trying out this other remix by just-some-dude https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4792143.
