The Master Sword is a legendary blade known to appear only during times of great turmoil, and it's said that only one who possesses a pure heart can wield its incredible power. The Triforce of Courage is what sets the brave warriors apart from the rest, as they're able to grasp the sword's hilt with their own two hands. Ganondorf's own blade, however, was not nearly as impressive - it was more like a dark and twisted mockery of the true Master Sword.
