I crafted a custom pedestal from an existing Zelda sword and shield, giving them a sleek new home for display. To complete the look, I'll need to add a handle that fits snugly into the shield holder piece. Fortunately, this feature is optional, allowing you to showcase just the sword or go all out with both pieces. The main pedestal section includes a base with an extrusion designed specifically for the sword's tip, while its hollow interior ensures the plastic remains preserved. When printing the main piece upside down, I was thrilled to find it turned out perfectly. In contrast, the other components can be printed as is without any modifications. As an added bonus, this pedestal makes a fantastic letter opener - and it's already proved itself in that role! Overall, this custom display case offers a unique way to showcase these meticulously crafted replicas of Zelda's iconic tools.
