Zelda Shield
thingiverse
First I want to give props to fasteddy516 for the design. This was enlarged to print on a gMax XT+ for a full size shield. Defiantly use a brim or glue to hold down to bed, as it tends to lift. Pieces were put together with 2 part epoxy and 3/8" wooden dowel rods. Ratchet straps were used to clamp it together. Blend the seams together starting with Bondo brand fiberglass bondo and sanding. A few coats of high build primer with sanding in between. 2 coats of Rust-oleum stone texture finish and 2 coats of same brand matte finish clear. Size ends up about 3 ft tall, 2 ft wide, and 2.5 inches deep. Props to fasteddy516 for model 2677486
