I had been unable to successfully print the original on the MakerBot Replicator, as it had stubbornly refused to sit upright due to its rear legs obstructing the printing surface. However, once I carefully removed these offending members, the entire model lay flat and was suddenly accessible for printing by almost any 3D printer, a revelation that brought me immense satisfaction and greatly improved my overall workflow.
